Acupuncture is the art of inserting thin needles into the body acupuncture points. Our clinic uses sterilised disposable needles for safe insertion. Heat simulation and a device that generates continuous electric pulses may be used together with acupuncture to increase efficacy of treatment. Acupuncture is commonly used for pain relief, though it is also used to treat a wide range of conditions. The main principle of acupuncture is that it aids in the restoration of the flow of qi in the body.

 

针灸是在中医理论的指导下把针具（一次性毫针）按照一定的角度刺在穴位上，运用捻转与提插等针刺手法来对人体特定部位进行刺激从而达到治疗疾病的目的。为了增强治疗效果，本诊所也会使用照灯及电麻仪配合针灸治疗。针灸主要治疗痛症，但也能治疗多种内外妇儿科疾病。针灸通过经络、腧穴的传导作用，达到通经脉，调气血，使阴阳归于相对平衡，脏腑功能趋于调和，以达到防疾病的目的。
